- About MeAfter highschool, I attended Gonzaga University where I majored in Graphic Communications and minored in art. Since then, I have taken many more years of design and a year long study in Seattle during 1995. After my last child was in first grade, I started designing and lettering gifts for friends. From this small beginning, Jan designs, a 30 year business was born. I have exhibited in banks, libraries, galleries and taken part in juried art shows for over 30 years.
