Jan is a wonderful calligrapher who lives upstairs from me in the building.  She has a beautiful studio.  Jan had wanted one of my mobiles to hang in her studio.  One day I came to work and found a calligraphy pen balanced on the door knob of my studio.  I didn't quite get the message for a moment….ah, it dawned on me.  Thank you, Jan, for being a wonderfully inspiring work neighbor.–  Laura A.

Dear Jan, I was so pleased to see the article about you in the newspaper.  I am sure that everyone thought that it was a wonderful article about a beautiful person.  It made me wish that I knew you better.
