Is your club attempting to attract new members but struggling? There are many reasons that people belong to clubs or organizations. One main reason is the social aspect of being with people that have a similar interest. Another is being part of something and getting recognition.

How are you promoting your club or organization? What impression do people get when attending meetings? Are meetings boring and full of doom and gloom?

After considering the questions above, it is important to realize that your club or organization can not sustain itself but requires an active membership to carry it forward. Without proper motivation to members to participate in a club or organization, there is the possibility the club will be stale or dissolve completely.

Motivation provided to members is the best way to guarantee the success of any club or organization. Motivation can come in many different forms. One tried and true: Recognition, either verbal or through small to large tokens of appreciation can increase participation by members with little cost association. For example, a coolee cup or mug given to a volunteer for a job well done will not only motivate the volunteer to participate again but will motivate others to participate so that they are provided with the same gratification.

Motivation can also be provided to members by making meetings and club functions more about fun than work. Have contests or giveaways to those who donate the most time etc.

2009 brings us full photo quality bumper stickers with high quality graphics. But only specialty companies offer this option!

Bumper stickers are still a popular way of advertising, both personally and for business because they get noticed, especially if placed on a really nice vehicle!
